Why is the shortened Bosch drive unit mounting plate needed?

• The Bosch mounting plate forms the basis of the motor bracket of all Bosch eBikes, which was revised at the end of 2015.
• This mounting plate is the link between the Bosch Active / Performance motor and the frame on your eBike.
• The already applied foil suppresses possible friction noises (cracking, creaking) between the motor mount and the frame.

The shorter design of the mounting plate very effectively prevents various noises due to friction between the old mounting plate and the frame.

When mounting, the Bosch damping foil is needed on the opposite side of the new mounting plate.
