Stem Ergotec Octopus 2 Ahead 50

With the angle-adjustable Ergotec Octopus 2 Ahead 50 – Stem you choose a steering system especially for e-bikes in the city and trekking area.

The angle adjustment allows a better adjustment of the seating position and thus a reduction of pressure on the holding apparatus and simultaneously optimizes the arm position. The arm posture in turn directly affects the position of the upper body. The Ergotec Octopus 2 stem is thus ergonomically ideal adaptable and can be adjusted to the needs of the rider. Nothing stands in the way of a relaxed bike ride through the city or a more demanding e-bike trekking tour.

The Safety Level 4 complies with the standard for e-bikes in the city and trekking sector (25 km/h, max. 140 kg) as well as in the children’s and youth sector (12″-24″, max. 100 kg).

The stem offers a basic increase of 50 mm compared to a flat standard stem and is available in lengths of 90 mm and 110 mm.

The stem is only suitable for handlebars with a diameter of 31.8mm in the clamping area. The steerer tube must have a diameter of 1 1/8″ (28.6mm).
